Customer Checklist for Piano Deliveries & Setup

To ensure the highest quality of care for your piano delivery we will require the following prior to scheduling delivery of your piano:

  • Photos of the entry, pathway, and area where piano is being setup
  • Photos of all steps or stairs on location that movers will need to navigate
  • Photos and dimensions of stairs or elevator for any delivery over one floor
  • The type of flooring the movers will be moving over
  • The gate or access code needed to enter the property for gated communities
  • The contact for the delivery if purchaser won’t be present

Upon arrival of the movers, we request that you:

  • Have a clear area for the movers to work. We will not move your furniture. We are not responsible for damage to furniture or other property that hinders the setup of your piano
  • Have all animals put away for the safety of our movers and your pets
Player Piano Systems
(Disklavier, PianoDisc, Q.R.S.)

To expedite the setup process for your player piano we recommend that you:

  • Select an area that is near a standard 3-prong electrical outlet. We do not recommend using an extension cord, however if you must use an extension cord, the minimum wire size for a 25' cord (or less) is 18 AWG. Please consult an electrician for longer cords. We also recommend that you provide a surge protector.
  • Know which internet provider you use (Spectrum, Comcast, Xfinity, etc)
  • Know the location of your router and the distance between the router and setup area
  • Have your network password on hand for setup (do not give out this information, you will be inputting the passwords during setup)
  • Have your smart device (iPad, tablet, etc) available and charged. Please make sure you know the password for the device in case we need to download an app to connect the piano to the device. Once connected, you will be able to control the player system going forward.
