This Yamaha model G3 Grand Piano was manufactured in Yamaha’s renowned grand piano factory in Hamamatsu, Japan in 1980. The Yamaha Model G3 is 6ft long which gives it a very rich and deep tone due to the long bass strings. When you find one in good condition, it can be a great buy, and this one is in extra fine condition.
It also has a PianoDisc player piano system installed which enables you to play piano music from thousands of song selections available on the market. It is also capable of streaming piano music live from the internet and can be controlled from your iPad.

The piano is in great condition and the PianoDisc player system has been thoroughly checked and serviced. No repairs or replacement of parts was necessary as the strings, hammers, dampers, and action are all in good shape. We cleaned and detailed the piano, reshaped and voiced the hammers, and performed a thorough action regulation and tuning. The piano comes with a matching bench.

The Yamaha G-Series pianos were built from the 1970’s through the 1990’s and were positioned between their entry level pianos at the time (GH Series) and their upper-level Conservatory or ‘C’ Series pianos. The G-Series was eventually replaced by the the C-Series pianos which feature minor design changes but are very similar in terms of quality and performance. The G series, however, can usually be purchased for less due to them being slightly older. Yamaha G-Series tends to have a slightly mellower tone compared to newer Yamaha pianos. This G3 is quite powerful, rich and warm, and has a very nice soft dynamic range.
