We just received this classic Steinway & Son’s 42” Art Deco style console piano originally manufactured in the USA at the Steinway & Sons factory in New York in 1950. The piano is in very good condition both cosmetically and mechanically. We inspected the piano upon arrival at our shop where it was detailed, serviced, and tuned prior to placement on our showroom floor.
This tastefully understated Steinway would lend the perfect touch of style and sophistication to any room and would be a wonderful addition to any fine home. It is hard to find a piano made today that has the quality of veneer that you find on a classic American made piano like this one. The deep rich reddish-brown color and perfectly matched pattern of the wood grain is complimented by the modern simplicity of the deco design of the cabinet and matching bench.
The action is smooth and easy to play on; the tone is crisp and clear. This tastefully understated Steinway would make a wonderful addition to any fine home and an instrument that will provide many years of satisfaction and enjoyment.
